ST. LOUIS SECTION

The Upper School station (N9YN/0) is now in full operation on both HF and 2 meters!

The station in the Physics lab on the Principia St. Louis Campus consists of a 2 meter transceiver with both j-pole and yagi antennas, and an HF station with a loaned Kenwood TS-830 into a G5RV antenna on the roof. It is also battery powered and charged by a solar panel on the roof! So, at least on 2 meters, the station is completely independant of AC power and ready for any emergency.
