The Principia Amateur Wireless Society (PAWS) operates stations on the Principia College campus in Elsah, IL (N9YN) and the Principia Upper School Campus in St. Louis, MO (N9YN/0). Principia is a school for Christian Scientists (www.prin.edu).

PAWS includes licensed amateur radio operators who are alumni and friends of Principia located around the world.

In addition to providing an educational experience for students on both campuses, the club exists to provide emergency communications between the campuses and the field in time of emergency.
